Interview with Our Alexandria Store

What is a typical day like for your team?

Open the doors, start the coffee, turn on the radio in the showroom, pick up where we left off from the day before. Every day is different. Here in Alexandria, we have a lot of foot traffic so some days you never know what is going to happen!


What’s one thing that makes your team unique?

We have been very fortunate to have a very experienced group of techs back in the shop.


Can you share an example of a successful project where your team made a big impact?

We have been in our new building for about a year now and it took everyone in the building to make the move happen. All departments pitched in and we were in the new building in a matter of just a few days. 

Maybe not a project but something everyone has been involved in is the flow from departments. I believe the flow from sales, to parts and service, to the techs, and back to the customer has been improving everyday. It’s nice to see everyone working together.


What’s a fun fact about your location?

We have been part of the Alexandria community since 1921 and have been a Kubota dealer since 1990! 


Do you have any traditions or team rituals?

The Alex store does a potluck every year between Thanksgiving and Christmas. Lots of good food to eat for a few days!


How would you describe your team in three words?

Proud, dedicated, experienced.


What’s one goal or initiative your team is excited about for the future?

Expanding our rental business as well as getting more involved in the forklift world. 


Are there any upcoming changes or improvements that will benefit employees or customers?

Our big change has already happened with the construction of the new building. We've been in the new building for 1 full year. Having an indoor loading dock has been awesome amongst many other amenities. We have a very nice place for ourselves to work, and our customers to do business, benefitting everyone.
