Department Spotlight: Tire Truck

Our tire truck serves customers throughout the state of Minnesota with mobile services. It is a full shop on the go, so we can assist with whatever customers need done with their tires and beyond. Brian, our technician, is a small, but mighty team of one! Learn more about his role at Quality Equipment in the interview below.

Interview with our Tire Truck Technician, Brian

What is a typical day like for your team?

I start my day by coordinating with dispatch and the Parts Department to make a plan for the day, then I head out to take care of the customers.

What’s one thing that makes your team unique?

 The Tire Department is the only department of its kind, and it covers all of our QE locations.

Can you share an example of a successful project where your team made a big impact?

Not one project in particular, but as our Company’s Tire Technician, I’m responsible for keeping a lot of operations in motion (so to speak). 

What’s a fun fact about your department?

 The size! I’m a one-man department.

Do you have any inside jokes, traditions, or team rituals?

 Well I work alone, so all of my jokes are inside jokes haha.

How would you describe your team in three words?

 Thorough, effective, and diligent.

What’s one goal or initiative your team is excited about for the future?

I’m excited about potentially broadening our service capabilities to bring in more customers.

Are there any upcoming changes or improvements that will benefit employees or customers?

Not upcoming, but our new facility has drastically improved our efficiency and effectiveness.
